Mosaic Quartet is the 2017 3rd Place Sweet Adelines International Quartet in Region 19.
With over 100 years combined barbershop singing and performing experience, Mosaic Quartet is an award winning a cappella quartet associated with the Sweet Adeline’s International Organization. They enjoy the thrill of providing elegant and memorable entertainment and have performed for public and private events, assisted living communities, Christmas parties, and barbershop chorus chapter shows.
Shayna Atkinson (bass):
Shayna discovered barbershop in 1996 while working out at a local YMCA, where she stumbled upon a front row rehearsal. As a Sweet Adeline, she has served as a section leader and competed with several quartets. Shayna also makes learning tracks. She recently joined Liberty Oak Chorus and loves learning all the new music. She lives in Berkeley Heights, NJ with her husband Jim and two teenage daughters, Amanda and Jessica. Shayna has a Masters in Computer Science and has been a stay at home mom since 2002. She is involved in her church and is a little bit of a foodie and wine snob.
Stephanie Brictson (tenor):
Stephanie has been a Sweet Adeline for over 27 years. She is the Master Director of the Jersey Sound Chorus and the Musical Director of the Bucks County Country Gentlemen Chorus. Previous quartet experiences have awarded her 4 Regional Championships. She is a 2nd generation barbershopper and has been singing along with her father for over 50 years. Stephanie is most proud of her two sons, both gifted musicians and both 3rd generation barbershoppers. Stephanie lives in Quakertown, PA and works as a Research Administrator at Temple University. Outside of barbershop, Stephanie’s hobbies include...well? There is no life outside of barbershop, is there?
Jenn Fox (baritone):
Jenn is one of the three barber-brats of the quartet and has been singing in Sweet Adelines since 1995. Jenn lives in West Chester, PA and is quite the beer connoisseur. If you know anything about barbershop, you know that it cannot be sung without a baritone, although it’s been tried.
Debbie Kirsch (lead):
Debbie learned of barbershop harmony at about age 5 when her dad started singing barbershop in a small chorus on Guam. She has been a Sweet Adeline since 1986. Currently singing with the Valley Forge Chorus, Debbie is a member of the Marketing and Visual Teams. Debbie lives in Lansdale, PA with her high-school sweetheart husband, Steve, who is also an award winning barbershopper. They have two sons. The oldest attends Penn State University. She works for Johnson & Johnson as an Executive Assistant and loves to be outdoors.
